This handmade, reusable bin liner is a great alternative to plastic bin liners so is the perfect addition to any eco-friendly home. Great to use for rubbish, laundry, or storage - simply empty out and pop in the washing machine.
Waterproof, reusable, and machine washable, the bin liner is made with black PUL fabric which features a waterproof lining and a drawstring that allows the liner to fit multiple bin sizes and also allows you to hang the bag. Moonie have designed the liner with a handle on the bottom to make it easier to empty, and created a seamless bottom to help prevent leaks.
Each liner is lovingly handmade in Dorset. Available in various sizes.
To use:
Simply use like you would with a normal bin liner! When full, remove the liner, empty the contents into your wheelie bin and place the reusable liner back into your bin. If dirty, you can wipe clean or put in the washing machine on 40 degrees.
Made from durable, locally-sourced PUL, the bin liner is much stronger than a plastic bag or compostable bin bags, and the corners are reinforced for extra strength. PUL is a hardwearing and waterproof fabric. It has has two layers - one of which has a layer of polyurethane, which makes the product water-resistant.
The polyurethance is made from renewable materials (vegetable oil) rather than mineral oil - this is a much better option for the environment. The material also undergoes a unique process which permanently melt-bonds the waterproof film to the fabric without any toxic solvents.

We deliver within the United Kingdom and Isle of Man only. We post most working days and usually within 1-2 working days of ordering, but this may be a bit longer at busy times. Note that orders placed on a Saturday or Sunday will not be posted before Monday. We endeavour to add a notification banner if packing and posting will take longer than usual at certain times.
We use Royal Mail for our deliveries. We use tracked postage, and Royal Mail aim to deliver 2nd class parcels within 48 working hours of postage and 1st class within 24 working hours. Occasionally Royal Mail experience delays, which are outside of our control. We therefore can't guarantee delivery dates, although we will do our utmost to get your package to you as quickly as possible. Please allow for our packing and postage timescales when estimating timescales for delivery.

Returns Policy
If you wish to return items, please do let us know within 14 days of your receipt of the order. Goods need to be unused and in original packaging.
If you wish to return an item, please contact us here with your name and contact details, order number, details of the items you wish to return and reason. If the goods are defective, we will refund the retail price and the cost of shipping both ways.

I think its fab, no issues so far, I already had a stash of empty packets saved so that any food waste that couldn't go in the composter can be put in those and then put in the bin... still got someway to go to convince the other half but so far its going great 👍 wish id bought one sooner

Well made liner that removes the need for single use plastic. You soon get into swing of popping waste food in a bit of newspaper to keep it clean which has worked a treat. Small inconvenience for the good it does for the planet and saves the pennies too. Would definitely recommend.

I first heard about the existence of recyclable bin liners on a Nancy Birtwhistle post and was very sceptical at about a reusable bin liner in the beginning. I have been using it for a few weeks now however and I absolutely love it and would recommend it wholeheartedly. I am careful about what I throw away and don’t put any organic or compostable waste in it and I recycle, tins, tetra pack packaging and anything possible. But with what I have put in it I have only had to empty it once a week and it is easy to rinse if necessary and doesn't harbour bad smells.

bins come in all shapes and sizes so it is hard to get one that fits every style. My bin is a low cube shape that fits in an under sink drawer, I don’t need it to be deep but I do need a much wider bottom. Maybe selling the fabric to make your own would be the best answer. Too soon to say how it works in practice as I’m using up my old liners first.

I absolutely love these. We have two large bins in the kitchen for different recycling and I was looking for a reusable liner to fit into them which would make taking out the recycling easier. The other important factor was that the liners needed to be washable as I knew one of the bins could end up smelling due to the type of recycling (bottles, tins and plastic). They have washed really well several times and no sign of the waterproof lining breaking apart as I put them on a cool gentle wash and left them to air dry.
