These hair scrunchies are made from recycled sari material off cuts from the Indian garment industry. Made from colourful variations of beautiful quality sari cloth, the designs and colours are assorted, making every item beautifully unique.
Made from a mixture of viscose and silk.
Namaste has been supporting the owner of this business since she bravely set up her own small artisan workshop 15 years or so ago after losing her job when her previous employer ran into difficulties. They support 35 full time positions with more on contract work according to demand. Employee benefits and working conditions are good and wages are above minimum wage. The business gives as much work as possible to workers from the disadvantaged sections of Jaipur society, particularly to the slum areas where the really disadvantaged struggle to find well paid work.
Namaste, translated as ‘I greet the spirit within you’ was founded in 1997. A UK-based stockist, Namaste are dedicated to sourcing beautiful fairly traded products from across the world. embracing traditional artisan skills and ensuring where possible products are made from sustainable and recycled materials.

Delivery
We deliver within the United Kingdom and Isle of Man only. We post most working days and usually within 1-2 working days of ordering, but this may be a bit longer at busy times. Note that orders placed on a Saturday or Sunday will not be posted before Monday. We endeavour to add a notification banner if packing and posting will take longer than usual at certain times.
We use Royal Mail for our deliveries. We use tracked postage, and Royal Mail aim to deliver 2nd class parcels within 48 working hours of postage and 1st class within 24 working hours. Occasionally Royal Mail experience delays, which are outside of our control. We therefore can't guarantee delivery dates, although we will do our utmost to get your package to you as quickly as possible. Please allow for our packing and postage timescales when estimating timescales for delivery.

Returns Policy
If you wish to return items, please do let us know within 14 days of your receipt of the order. Goods need to be unused and in original packaging.
If you wish to return an item, please contact us here with your name and contact details, order number, details of the items you wish to return and reason. If the goods are defective, we will refund the retail price and the cost of shipping both ways.
